The last report of (the International Atomic Energy Agency) IAEA on Iran's nuclear activities published on August 29, 2009 again underlines that no document has been found to signify that the country is to produce nuclear weapons.
The report disappointed Israel and its Western allies once more of producing a frame up against Iran's obvious right for using nuclear energy in an official and the legal way. In the other words, the official report of IAEA provides no pretext for the Group 5+1 to continue its threats and further punishments against IRI. However our experiences from the past indicate that this group will not wait for finding a legal pretext to launch its new series of sanctions against Iran and like three previous illegal resolutions to please Israel, they will not avoid illegal actions against Iran.
Before following the issue, it's necessary to refer to illegal aspects of punishments imposed by the Group 5+1 in opposition to Iran. In passing three resolutions of economic sanctions against Iran in United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the group persuaded IAEA to use the seventh chapter of the United Nations Charter as a pretext, and submit the incomplete case and investigation from Iran's nuclear program to UNSC for further punishment. But the seventh chapter of United Nations Charter asserts a case for penalties against a country can be submitted to UNSC only on the condition that the country has breached peace, or has made actions against world peace or launched a military attack against another country. Not only IAEA had not accused Iran to those actions, but also the investigations from Iran's nuclear plants have not finished yet. Actually the case is open and currently it can not be concluded that Iran had breached the international law or not.
As a matter of fact IAEA official reports based on their investigations in Iran-except declarations about the lack of harmony in questions and answers between their watchdogs and the Iranian officials-have permanently affirmed that there is no evidence to prove that Iran has been tried to use its nuclear program for any other strategic purpose than peaceful utilization. Devoid of lawful justifications indicated in the United Nations Charter, the nuclear file against Iran only serves to support the pressures put on UNSC by new conservatives of US and its European allies to impose more sanctions on Iran. Ignoring the necessity for legal and ethical justifications for giving more penalties on Iran, UNSC in its own turn has passed three illegal rectifications against Iran only as a result of a collusion between the members of the Group 5+1.
Realizing the important difference between opposing the government and defending national interests
Unfortunately some Iranian traditional intellectuals have not yet learnt that the nuclear energy crisis has nothing to do with the internal political problems of the country and it's related to foreign affairs. In foreign relations keeping national interest demands the resolute support of citizens which are the owners of that national interest. The fact is apart from whether the present crisis is the result of inefficient management of the incumbent government or foreign ideological enmities against the ruling system of the country. Nevertheless in our country there are still those who can not distinguish the boundaries between opposing the ruling system and securing the national interests. They still emphasize on challenging Iran's nuclear issue as s subject for internal political differences and in a way support clear intentions of some foreign countries which have targeted Iran's national interests.
Such a small group of Iranian traditional intellectuals voice the unproved allegations of Israeli leaders and their advocates in France, UK, Germany and the US. They neglect a repeated sentence pointed out in the official reports by watchdog teams of IAEA: "No document has been found to signify Iran has deviated from its peaceful nuclear program."
