Both produced by Manouchehr Mohammadi, the films hadn't been included in the primary list of the participating works at this section of the festival.
Earlier the Iranian films 'In the Color of Purple' directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia, 'Tehran, Tehran' made by Darioush Mehrjouyi and Mahdi Karampour; and 'The Realm of Solomon' by Shahriar Bahrani were selected for International Competition Section.
Also 'Anahita' by Azizollah Hamidnejad, 'Alchemy and Soil' directed by Abbas Rafe'ei contested for the awards at Asian Films Competition Section. In the meantime, the films 'Awakening of the Dreams' made by Mohammad Ali Basheh Ahangar and 'Yusef (Joseph [AS]) the Prophet' directed by Farajollah Salahshour had been announced to participate at a section titled In Search of Truth and Justice.
