According to Khabar Online correspondent, Mohammad Ali Bozorgvari a member of the Principalist fraction of the Parliament delivered a speech last week blasting the members of fraction's presidium and Larijani in particular. He asked them to give clear answers to those criticisms.
His comments prompted different responses from the lawmakers. Those who back the government headed by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and have established the Islamic Revolution fraction in the Parliament asked for holding a general assembly since many of them are members of the Principalist fraction as well.
But the moderate members of the Principalist fraction condemned bringing the differences to the surface. Hassan Naqavi the director of the website of the Majlis Principalist fraction attributed the issue to the partiality of some lawmakers stressing that such problems must not be announced from the Majlis forum.
One of the other members of the fraction, Heshmatollah Falahat-Pisheh also recommended the Principalists to raise their problems at a general assembly in relation to the performance of the fraction's presidium. As he asserted, some decisions made by the presidium and the central council of the Principalist fraction are ignored by some lawmakers on the floor of Majlis. Such ignorance has been objected by the defenders of the fraction.
