Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan agreed to hold the first meeting of joint economic commission in mid November.

The UAE is now leading the joint economic commission.

In a session on the sidelines of Friends of Democratic Pakistan meeting in Turkey, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation on regional and international level.

They also highlighted expansion of mutual cooperation on political, economic and cultural areas, the Iranian students news agency reported.
