On Tuesday, engineers began loading fuel into the reactor core of the Bushehr nuclear power plant, a move which brings the facility closer to generating electricity.

Mehrnews:

On October 4, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) chief, Ali Akbar Salehi, said the power plant would be ready to generate electricity by January.

The plant, located near the port of Bushehr on the coast of the Persian Gulf, will produce 1000 megawatts of electricity once all the fuel rods are loaded into the core of the reactor.
