President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran will pursue its principle policy of expansion of relations with its neighbors more strongly, adding that the policy has born many fruits for the Islamic world and regional nations.
The President made the remarks in a meeting with Foreign Minister of the neighbor Oman.
"Tehran is ready to deepen relations with Muscat to maximum capacities and exchange experiences in different fields," he added.
The President described IRI-Oman ties as example for the rest of the region, adding that the brotherly relations between the two countries are growing speedily.
Yousef Bin Alawi for his part congratulated President Ahmadinejad on his reelection and called it a boon to regional relations.
"Oman seeks expansion of relations with Iran in all fields," he added.
