An Egyptian analyst and writer underlined that the high turnout in the June 12 presidential election is an indication that Iranian people are politically mature.

"There is no doubt in my mind that the recent elections in Iran were as fair and clean as can be. The huge turnout for the elections is an indelible proof that the Iranian people are politically mature and believe in the fairness of the election process," Mohammed A. Hejazi, a prominent researcher on Zionism and Holocaust said in an interview with FNA.

He noted that the results that came out of the election was in line with what any informed observer would have expected, and added, "President Ahmadinejad was the choice of the masses. He represents the aspirations of low income average Iranians. His performance during his first term in office endeared him to the majority that elected him for a second term."

"The average working class Iranian is also politically aware of the danger of Iran's enemies. People could easily assess the brilliant performance of Mr. Ahmadinejad and his steadfastness against the blatant threats by the Americans and their evil surrogate Israel. Such performance was noted, not only by the majority of Iranians but also by many observers outside Iran," the analysts went on saying.

Commenting upon post-election developments and unrests in Iran, Hejazi reiterated that political observers gave a number of explanations, depending on which camp they belonged.

"Enemies of Iran propagated the myth that it was a large-scale tumultuous rebellion against a 'forged result'. The facts of the matter surfaced later. The secret services of Iran's enemies, via interference with Iran's communications systems, falsely and prematurely announced the success of Mr. Mousavi. When the real result came shortly after, Mr. Mousavi's supporters were infuriated and wrongly believed that the election result had been rigged," he stated.

"They vented their anger in a manner that would have been justifiable if rigging did actually occur. The rioters were dealt with and the unrest subsided as the facts became clear. Inflammatory images of the riots were widely propagated by the world Zionist mass media as a precursor to what the Zionist hoped for," Hejazi assessed.

Pointing to dreams by Iran's enemies to overthrow the Islamic Republic, Hejazi said, "They (Zionists) believed that it would have been possible for the US to mount a "regime change" attack, Iraq style, on Iran."

"They also hoped that their concentrated propaganda and the ensuing unrest could destabilize the country and bring to power a system that favors appeasing the enemy, similar to the inept and corrupt systems in Arab countries," he added.

The Egyptian analysts further advised the youth of Iran to understand that their yearning for a more open society should not override the firm and dedicated policy of the present government, as to the need to concentrate on preparing against the real and serious threats posed by Iran's enemies, mainly the US, UK and a number of other European countries, where Zionists rule.

"The dangers these powers pose are against all Muslim countries. Iran is almost the only power in the Muslim world that does not have a government subservient to Zionism," he underlined.

"Iran's younger generations should be proud of their president. He is a down-to-Earth well-educated simple man who works for his people. He is hated by all the corrupt heads of all the countries that are run by the enemies of Humanity. They know that they cannot buy him," Hejazi emphasized.

"The people of Iran should look at Egypt in order to see what abysmal fate the US and the rest of Iran's enemies want for them," the analyst warned.

Elsewhere, Hejazi reminded that American subversive actions in Latin America over the years are well documented, adding, "The pattern used in Iran is not much different from that previously used in Haiti or Venezuela. CIA plumbs the depths of indecency and unjustifiable meddling into the affairs of other nations."

He reiterated that there is no doubt that the secret services of Iran's enemies did interfere via both the electronic media and the porous borders with Iraq, especially the part of the borders with Northern Iraq, where the Kurds are under Israeli control.

"Iran's elite, especially the educated young, must understand that their real enemy is the US. The false images of American "democracy and freedom" should not deceive them. They should look at the examples nearby in Iraq and Afghanistan," Hejazi noted.

He also stressed that the US and its satellites are in essence totalitarian systems in disguise, under the thumbs of international Zionism.

"The latest manifestation of such totalitarianism is the imprisonment of Dr Fredrick Toben in Australia. He was sent to prison because he expressed the opinion that the so called "Jewish Holocaust" never happened," the Egyptian researcher went on saying.

"I believe that Iran will continue along its path to prosperity for the majority of its people. The gap between the rich and the poor should be narrowed in favor of a broad middle class," he stated.

"Today's Zionists aim at eliminating the middle class worldwide, in order to facilitate the dominance of Zionist agents in power. The middle class is the backbone of balanced healthy societies. The rich are busy with their selfish pursuits, while the poor are too busy trying to make a living. The full burden is on the shoulders of the middle class. It has to find solutions for all national and societal problems," Hejazi concluded.
